About Grassington

Grassington is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and is the largest village in the Yorkshire Dales - it's busy cobbled square and Main Street reflect a traditional working centre. Grassington is surrounded by the beautiful limestone countryside of Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales.

Grassington has a variety of shops and restaurants all within 2 minutes walking distance.

Towns nearby include the old market towns of Skipton and Settle and the spa town of Harrogate.

Other local attractions include Kilnsey Trout Park, Stump Cross Caverns, Bolton Abbey Priory and Embsay Steam Railway.

Grassington is the largest village in Wharfedale and has a cobbled square with picturesque historic streets and buildings.

Nearby is the River Wharfe where you can walk through ancient woodlands, past limestone crags to the high moorland fells and limestone pavements. The river is well-stocked with trout and grayling (day tickets are available).
